RDIO x Pitchfork Music Festival
OBJECTIVE
RDIO Outpost was an interactive resource set up at the 2013 Pitchfork Music Festival, where festival- goers could discover new music and share content from their mobile devices.
SOLUTION
Chicago-based artist Jeremy Pettis illustrated the festival schedule on a three-part wall surrounding The Speaker Bar, designed by Sit and Read.
The Pitchfork + Rdio Songsnaps app came to life with printed photographs, connecting live experiences to the artwork and creating a visual timeline of the festival. Over the three-day event, 10,000+ people came through the Outpost to get photos, charge phones, and pick up useful gear to get them closer to the music.
