Made Possible by Hosts campaign to educate people on the magical experiences that Hosts make possible for our guests. To do this, we created a series of films using real photographs shot by photographers on real trips staying in the homes of Airbnb Hosts around the world. These films connect with the sense of nostalgia we all feel about trips we took with people we care about, and the prospect of taking those trips again.

AirCover

Product Launch - AirCover, the most comprehensive protection in travel. AirCover is always included and always free, and it represents the biggest upgrade to Airbnb customer service in a decade.

With AirCover, you’re covered by four protections every time you stay on Airbnb:

Booking Protection Guarantee – In the unlikely event a Host needs to cancel your booking within 30 days of check-in, we’ll find you a similar or better home, or we’ll refund you.
Check-In Guarantee – If you can’t check into your home and the Host cannot resolve the issue, we’ll find you a similar or better home for the length of your original stay, or we’ll refund you.
Get-What-You-Booked Guarantee – If at any time during your stay you find your listing isn’t as advertised — for example, the refrigerator stops working and your Host can’t easily fix it, or there are fewer bedrooms than listed — you’ll have three days to report it and we’ll find you a similar or better home, or we’ll refund you.
24-hour Safety Line – If you ever feel unsafe, you’ll get priority access to specially-trained safety agents, day or night.

You can chat with your Superhost over audio, video, or messaging. We’re launching with 1,500 Superhosts in over 80 countries who are dedicated to helping new Hosts get started.
An experienced guest for your first booking – For your first booking, you can choose to welcome an experienced guest who has at least three stays and a good track record on Airbnb.
Specialized support from Airbnb – As a new Host, you get one-tap access to a specially-trained team of Community Support agents. They can help with everything from account issues to getting paid and are available via phone, messaging, or email in over 42 languages.

Airbnb: Lex Gillette

Lex Gillette is a blind 4 time Paralympic medalist, and 4 time world champion from Raleigh, North Carolina.

He was beautifully captured by seasoned photographer and director João Canziani. This was our first Covid19 production, which was strange but wonderful to be on set again. We are so proud of the crew who produced the results of these stunning images.

Introducing Cooking on Airbnb
Now you can cook traditional family recipes with locals all over the world. Roll pasta by hand with an Italian grandma, make an ancient mole recipe with a healer in Mexico City, and cook a Portuguese feast with drag queens in Lisbon.

Explore more than 3,000 cooking experiences. It’s like being invited to family dinner anywhere you go. No need to book a home to take an experience.

Objective was to Drive awareness and guest demand for the Cooking category and broaden awareness of Experiences & Airbnb as more than just homes. Inspire a new behavior for guests to put a Food Experience in their travel plans.

Airbnb Host Stories

In 2019 we are searched for the most extraordinary hosts on Airbnb. These are inspiring individuals with incredible stories. Their homes are a manifestation of their minds; a product of their hopes, dreams, learnings, values -- a life well lived. We are seeking stories of transformation, entrepreneurship, and belonging; a hero’s journey undergone due to Airbnb.

These stories will be featured in a content series called HOST. This series is meant to make hosting a thing, and bring the word “host” into the lexicon. Our hosts define hosting every day, fostering belonging through their hospitality. All together these beautiful profiles will tell a story of humanity.

Airbnb Experiences

Clement was asked to produce photo and film for Airbnb’s Experiences which successfully launched in November 2016. They are still currently in partnership with Airbnb producing shoots for the Creative team across multiple campaigns and product initiatives.

Airbnb: Pro Host Tignes France

These two friends, Céline and Alison, fell in love with the character and community of Tignes, a resort ski town in the French Alps. After recognizing an opportunity, they’ve built a thriving property management business, and now welcome a growing group of international guests with their personality and warmth.
